The Ministry of Defense in Taiwan announced on Thursday that 15 Chinese air force planes, including fighter jets and drones, had breached Taiwan’s airspace. These aircraft were observed in conjunction with Chinese warships conducting “combat readiness patrols” and training exercises in the region.

Taiwan, which China asserts as a part of its territory, has raised consistent objections over the past four years concerning increased Chinese military activities near the island. These recent incursions are the latest in a series of incidents that have heightened tensions in the region and have led to diplomatic disputes between the two nations.

The ongoing military presence and exercises conducted by China near Taiwan have raised concerns about regional stability. The international community closely monitors these developments, and efforts are made to seek peaceful resolutions to the longstanding disputes between Taiwan and China. Diplomacy and dialogue remain crucial in addressing these sensitive issues and reducing tensions in the area.
