The Guardian

Today, millions of Australians voted whether or not to change the constitution to include an Indigenous voice to government.

At national level:

  • 59.6% voted No

At state level:

A majority of four states must also vote ‘Yes’ for the Voice to pass.

  • QLD
    • 31.8% voted Yes
    • 68.2% voted No
  • SA
    • 35.9% voted Yes
    • 64.1% voted No
  • TAS
    • 40.8% voted Yes
    • 59.2% voted No
  • NSW
    • 41.0% voted Yes
    • 59.0% voted No

    • 58.5% voted No
  • VIC

ACT and NT count towards the national vote, but not the state vote.
